Advanced hand therapy across the lifespan: August 2026
I attended the inspiring annual hand conference in Perth to hear the world expert and keynote speaker Ann Porretto-Loehrke, PhD Physiotherapist teach us about wrists and elbows and how to gain better motion.
She is an outstanding teacher and very generous in sharing her lectures.
I was impressed by so many young, enthusiastic, and inspiring hand therapists who really get what it takes to care for patients and achieve better outcomes with patient goals foremost in their minds.
I also enjoyed catching up with old colleagues at our conference dinner and learning about new products from all the medical companies present.
Finally, a huge thank you again to Orfit who will be donating valuable splint material (thermoplastics) for Bhutan. We return to Bhutan in November.
