The International Congress with over 4,000 attendees was an outstanding success.
Apart from the quality of the papers, it was a pleasure to meet with colleagues, mentors and friends from around the world. It was especially thrilling to meet up with Tshering Dorji from Bhutan, who received two scholarships to attend; the Evelyn Mackin award and sponsorships from Health Volunteers Organisation (HVO). The congress dinner with a boat trip under London Bridge was a moment to remember.
This was a joint congress held between the International Federation of Societies for Surgery of the Hand (IFSSH), International Federation of Societies for Hand Therapy (IFSHT) and Federation of European Societies for Surgery of the Hand (FESSH). Hosted in London by the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH) and the British Association of Hand Therapists (BAHT).
