Bhutan Surgical Camp Fundraiser

Suzanne Caragianis, Dr Tim Proudman and the Interplast Australia and New Zealand team held a very successful fundraiser for a surgical camp in Mongar, Bhutan on the 17th November 2019 to help children with cleft pallet and congenital anomalies.

Suzanne helped the Bhutanese cook momo’s, the local Bhutanese food and organised the local Bhutanese community to dance.

We raised $57,000 which will enable Interplast to fund a team of surgeons, anaesthetists and nurses to venture to the Far East in Bhutan and change young peoples lives!

Our 'Helping Hands in Bhutan' program is still live and well and you can make a tax deductible donation through our website.

Our hand patients rely on our ongoing support to supply vital therapeutic aids they could not otherwise afford .
