We had another very successful trip to Bhutan supported by the eminent and talented Alison Taylor from the USA.
Alison taught a fabulous course, 'Treating without Pain’ to physiotherapists, doctors and nurses.
The course focused on pain free treatment and working with skin and fascia to improve outcomes.
We had 33 attendees and 8 therapists from district hospitals to practice and observe in our hand therapy clinic.
Unfortunately, this year we had lots of trauma with multiple burns, fractures, amputations and bear maulings, all needing a lot of help.
We embraced the opportunity to teach and help the local Bhutanese people.
