Kalea Spyker is just in her final week of placement and is a 4th year Occupational Therapy student at the University of South Australia.
Occupational Therapy is a 4 year degree with the 4th year involving 3 practical placements of 9 weeks each.
Kalea chose to undertake a hand therapy placement which is a specialisation of Occupational Therapy. I continue to be inspired watching new therapists learn and develop.
As a mentor, you get so much back from seeing someone learn, develop new skills and become another wonderful Occupational Therapist.
It is now 29 years of teaching students on placement.
