Suzanne Caragianis established ‘Helping Hands in Bhutan’ charity (SAHI Inc.) over 10 years ago. We have established three hand therapy clinics and trained many of Bhutan's doctors and therapists.
Donations from this fundraiser will support the costs of training a general surgeon in plastic surgery in India, support our continuing education course in 2024 and provide vital hand therapy equipment and burns garments.
Our Goals
There are currently no Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons in Bhutan. Dr Sonam will be the first Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon in Bhutan, returning to Bhutan in February.
Part of our funds will support the costs of training a General Surgeon to work alongside him. Funds will also support our continuing education workshop in November 2024 and burns garments and hand therapy equipment.

The fundraiser will be held on the 20th January 2024 from 4pm until 8pm. The location for the fundraiser is at Dandelion Vineyards, 191 Chaffeys Road, Mclaren Vale, South Australia, 5171.
