Suzanne was invited to speak to the Rotary Club of Adelaide on 1st March 2023.
Suzanne spoke about her 13 year journey on 'Towards Hand Care in Bhutan', including her volunteer work with Interplast Australia and New Zealand and how the program has now been expanded into advanced Plastic and Reconstructive surgery for those who have suffered terrible injuries such as burns, bear maulings, and motor vehicle accidents.
Bhutans first Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon has just arrived in Adelaide to complete a 1 year fellowship following 18 months with Dr Raja Sabapathy in Coimbator, Tamil Nadu, India, who is one of the leading hand, microsurgical and reconstructive surgeons in the world!
Suzanne returns with the Interplast team to Bhutan in June.
